Many tentacle monsters have evolved to use their prey’s sexual energy to stay alive. This is evolutionary far more convenient, as most of them are quite immobile and have to wait for prey to fall into their pits. Simply devouring them would maybe satiate them for some time, but they’d quickly be hungry again. By feasting on their prey’s energy, they can essentially form a kind of symbiosis by supplying their prey with nutrients while constantly violating them to harvest their energy. Don’t worry, you’re safe in the dungeon. Our tentacle monsters are quite docile so trainees can be rescued with ease. I suggest you’re very careful when encountering wild tentacles, as you may be trapped in a blissful state of pleasure for a very long time~
